‘THE SOVEREIGN’S COLOUR’

Description

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II presents her new colour to the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and two inaugural standards to 2623 (East Anglian) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment and 2620 (County of Norfolk) Squadron Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment. Air-Vice Marshal Lord Beaverbrook Honorary Inspector General, Royal Auxiliary Air Force received the Sovereign’s Colour for the Royal Auxiliary Air Force. The Parade Commander was Group Captain Gary Bunkell Inspector, Royal Auxiliary Air Force. The Sovereign’s Colour Bearer was Flying Officer Martin Fell RAuxAF, 2623 Squadron’s Standard Bearer was Flight Lieutenant Paul Graham RAuxAF, 2620 Squadron’s Standard Bearer was Flight Lieutenant James Pettit RAuxAF.
